Agents Of Time is the brainchild of Andrea Di Ceglie and Luigi Tutolo, a dynamic duo celebrated for their live performances, DJ sets, and studio mastery. Since their inception, these two Italians have merged their individual talents and shared influences to become a globally sought-after act in the dance music scene. Their journey began with the much-loved debut 12” release, “Polina,” on Correspondent in 2014, which established them as a fresh and exciting presence in the world of emotional, melodic techno and ignited their touring career.
At the core of Agents Of Time’s artistry is their hardware-heavy, improvisational live set, which spans house, techno, and acid. Performing around a square table, the duo faces each other, channeling a symbiotic energy through their machines and communicating through instinct and gesture. This unique interplay between human minds and analog equipment consistently results in moments of magic. Their live performances draw inspiration from experts like Mathew Jonson, with whom they have collaborated on the track “Repeating Patterns, Numbers and Letters,” released in March 2019, following joint live shows at Rex Club in Paris and Movement Festival in Torino.
The duo’s adventurous spirit and diverse sound palette manifest in their house, techno, and more eclectic selections. In the studio, their work is a free-flowing ritual, mirroring their live performances. Their debut album, “Spread The Word,” was released on Stem Records in 2014, followed by hit EPs on Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio, their own label Obscura, and Curle Recordings. Their relationship with Tale Of Us and multiple appearances at Afterlife events culminated in their signing to Afterlife, releasing the stunning “Dream Vision” EP and “Paradigm” on the Realm Of Consciousness compilation.
