Da Capo, born Nicodimas Sekheta Mogashoa, is a renowned Afro-house DJ and producer from Seshego Zone 3, near Polokwane, South Africa. He gained initial recognition during the Bluetooth era, where his music circulated widely on mobile devices. His career took off in 2010 after contacting Nick Holder of DNH Records via Facebook, leading to a four-year recording contract. Known for blending deep house, Afro-house, and techno with soulful vocals and hypnotic melodies, Da Capo has released notable albums such as “Touched” (2014), “Indigo Child” (2017), “Genesys” (2020), and the EP “Bakone” (2023)​. Da Capo has performed at major festivals like Tomorrowland and Coachella. His upcoming albums, “Indigo Child II” and “Aquatone Cotton Fabric,” are set for release in 2024, promising new sonic explorations and collaborations​.
