Kasmario Thulani Ike Fankis, also known as Kasango, is a musical talent with an innate ear for music, a deep love for beats, and a profound passion for mixing. Hailing from the small town of Welkom in the Free State, South Africa, Kasango recognized his calling in music from an early age. At 16, he developed a profound affection for House Music, immersing himself in the world of vinyl records. Influenced by prominent South African House DJs like Black Coffee and DJ Kent, Kasango surrounded himself with like-minded individuals who fueled his inspiration. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for musical knowledge, Kasango attended events featuring DJs he admired, keenly observing their techniques to enhance his craft. Realizing he wanted to delve deeper into music, he enrolled at the Soul Candi Institute of Music in 2010. There, he studied Advanced Music Production and Music Business alongside classmates like Cuebur, Dj Shimza, and Sean from Weston & Engine. Kasango has collaborated on productions with notable figures such as Euphonik, Cuebur, Vanco, Afro Warriors, Idd Aziz, Dj Supta, and Soulstar, showcasing his commitment to mastering the art and business of music.
